• NSU administrator reappointed to Florida Fund for Minority Teachers
  Gov. Charlie Crist has reappointed Dr. Delores Smiley, a dean in NSU's Fischler School of Education and Human Services, to the Board of Directors for the Florida Fund for Minority Teachers.
• NSU's library hosts Tom Sawyer and Norman Rockwell exhibit
  A new Norman Rockwell's Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn exhibit is on display at NSU's Alvin Sherman Library from Nov. 14 through Jan. 30.
• Professor receives American Psychological Association's highest award
  Center for Psychological Studies professor Dr. Lenore Walker was honored with an award for Distinguished Lifetime Contributions to Media Psychology by the American Psychological Association.
• Men's cross country team heading to national championships
  The Sharks will make their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships after placing third at the South Region meet.
• Walk to prevent suicide at NSU on Nov. 22
  The Out of the Darkness Community Walk will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in its mission to prevent suicide and assist those affected by suicide.
